What is a marketing plan, and what purpose does it serve?
The marketing plan clearly explains the ways to interest clients in a product or in services, and to convince them in buying it. Also, it contributes in inspiring the lenders with a feeling of trust by showing them that the enterprise stands great chances of becoming prosperous. Contrary to certain ideas, a marketing plan is not a one-off document which is put away in a filing cabinet. It is rather a document which must be updated regularly in order to take into account the changing needs of the business and its clientele. It contains, among others, an analysis of the business situation, its objectives and the strategies to attain the targeted goal.
