Reference Guide for First Nations Employment Integration and Retention
Developed by the FNHRDCQ with the support of various partners, this reference guide is a collection of best practices for the successful employment integration and retention of a First Nations workforce.
Given the unique realities specific to each business environment, cultural diversity among Indigenous Peoples and a dynamic and evolving support network, a universal integration solution proves difficult. Instead, this guide offers “guidance and best practices” that have been tried and tested by several companies.
The purpose of this guide is to encourage Quebec enterprises to hire Indigenous people and to help them do so.
