Feeding our Communities: First Nations and Inuit Food Security Forum
The First Nations and Inuit in Quebec and Labrador Food Security Committee invites you to its first virtual forum which will take place from November 16 to 18, 2021, from 8:30 am to 12 pm.
Access to traditional food, community kitchen, hydroponic greenhouse, community garden, cooperative grocery store… Come and discover inspiring initiatives implemented by First Nations and Inuit communities to meet the challenge of food security!
The forum is intended for various First Nations and Inuit workers in Quebec and Labrador as well as anyone else who is interested in food security issues.
This 100% virtual and free event will be held on the Zoom platform in both French and English with simultaneous translation.
- Tuesday, November 16: What is food security among the First Nations and Inuit?
- Wednesday, November 17: Food production and distribution initiatives.
- Thursday, November 18: Access to traditional food, food transformation and nutrition education initiatives.
