Adapt to the Digital Age with Omnigo.ca
Samuel Béland, 27, Innu from Mashteuiatsh, is one of the owners of the digital company Omnigo.ca. Ever since he was young, his dream was to start his own digital marketing firm. During his CÉGEP studies, Samuel’s teachers had noticed his excellent marketing skills. As his passion for digital technology and his entrepreneurial spirit were growing day by day, he decided to charge towards his goal on April 16, 2021 with his new digital marketing company.
His strategy went beyond simply starting up his own firm. He did a year of research to be able to offer something unique and original. In addition, he and his business partner decided to improve their digital knowledge. Today, they have more than twenty certifications to their credit, such as: Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, etc. enabling them to be the best in their field.
Samuel met Myriam Vallières, Youth Entrepreneurship Advisor, and Frédérick Martel, Technical Entrepreneurship Advisor, during the Entreprendre Ensemble project led by the Regroupement des jeunes chambres de commerce du Québec (RJCCQ) in collaboration with the FNQLEDC and Propulsio 360. Samuel has been able to stand out due to his enthusiasm and proactivity in rapidly developing his business in order to meet the growing demand for his innovative service offering. Meanwhile, Omnigo continues to be supported by the advisors of the FNQLEDC, while contributing its expertise to the development of the FNQLEDC service structure.
After a year as self-employed workers/employees, the two partners started their corporation, which was divided into two entities, one located in Quebec City and the second in Montreal.
The firm now has more than 50 clients, and its partners are aiming for even more so that their services can benefit more businesses. Currently, there are four full-time employees and already this summer they will be increasing to seven employees to ensure they have the human resources they need to handle the workload.
Samuel tells us that he wants to grow and create jobs for Indigenous people, as well as for people from different minorities. He emphasizes that multiculturalism is very important to him. The firm is currently looking for employees/interns to fill the positions of programmer, administrative assistant, and marketing strategist.
The company has already managed more than $250,000 in digital advertising in the past two years.
Samuel tells us that, according to surveys, 70% of people who do business with marketing agencies are not satisfied and it is precisely this percentage that Samuel wants to change.
Here is a look at how the service offer works in a few steps:
First, the client is contacted.
Depending on the needs expressed, free recommendations are offered to the client.
A second meeting is scheduled to present the tender, and it is also during this step that the client can request adjustments, if necessary.
Samuel explained that the key to their approach is the way they invoice their expertise in the form of a bank of hours rather than as a flat rate, for the sake of transparency. They have a system that calculates the hours for them. Theoretically they make less money, but thanks to this approach people trust them more, which increases their clientele remarkably.
The target clienteles are SMEs, large companies and NPOs. The company even offers the service of securing the Google Grant for NPOs and they also handle the management of advertisements on Google for the client.
OMNIGO.CA is now deploying its professional services internationally. They have had and continue to have contracts everywhere in Canada, the United States, Italy and even Spain.
Future goals
Helping Indigenous entrepreneurs is a priority. Samuel would like to be the voice between Indigenous people and non-Indigenous people in the community. They even offer free marketing advice to Indigenous entrepreneurs.

(Without a doubt the best agency I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Their services are top notch when it comes to website implementation, overall optimization, Facebook ad management, and Google ad management. 10/10 highly recommend.)
(Working with Omnigo is a real revelation. As a small business, I didn’t believe that I could have access to all their tools and thus take my business to the next level. They get a genuine WOW from me!)
(Both associates are in constant contact with us to ensure our needs are met. We highly recommend Omnigo for all your marketing needs!)
Samuel shared with us that his first major client doubled his turnover in just a few months! Continuous optimization, communication, and analysis of results on each platform with their client is what sets them apart in the market and is the key to their strength.
In closing, I would like to emphasize that my discussion with this young entrepreneur allowed me to discover the strength and determination that passion can instill in an individual. I sincerely wish great success to this young, innovative company.
