The First Nations of Quebec and Labrador Economic Development Commission (FNQLEDC), in collaboration with the Centre de transfert d’entreprise du Québec (CTEQ,) was pleased to welcome community economic development officers (CEDOs), on March 26th, as well as Indigenous and non-Indigenous entrepreneurs from the Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Nord-du-Québec regions as part of its Conference Day on Business Transfer.
The event, which was held at the Forestel Hotel in Val-d’Or, aimed to bring together Indigenous and non-Indigenous players involved in the field of business transfer, thus creating a platform for sharing and connection between various stakeholders in the sector.

The event was officially launched with an introduction to business transfer and its ecosystem, which was facilitated by Antoine Grenier (FNQLEDC) and Mr. Mario Boutin (CTEQ).
Throughout the day, numerous panels and presentations on various themes were presented ranging from testimonials on successful business transfers to the different stages of business transfer and the financing of a business acquisition. The day ended with a networking cocktail that gave participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and expand their networks.
The FNQLEDC would like to thank all the participants who, thanks to their participation, made this event possible.
